Our Transformative Middle School Culture
BUILDING AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIPS
Teachers meet students where they are academically and spiritually, applying Scripture to social and cultural issues. Mentorship includes classroom connections, seminars, and the popular Eighth Grade Spiritual Retreat.
DEVELOPING STRONGER CHARACTER
Your child will grow spiritually and gain a deeper understanding of their identity in Christ through daily Bible classes, engaging worldview discussions, weekly chapel services, quarterly small groups, and student service opportunities.
HONORING THEMSELVES AND OTHERS
Following Christ’s example, our goal is to nurture a community where students genuinely care for one another, while guiding them through the process of learning from setbacks and accomplishments with grace, compassion, and understanding. Additionally, Wesleyan’s Student Support Team provides guidance and resources for navigating issues like anxiety, peer relationships, modesty, self-confidence, and leadership, all rooted in a biblical worldview.
INTENTIONAL ACADEMIC PREPARATION
Middle school students are encouraged to become more independent in their study habits and take greater responsibility for their behavior. We teach at an accelerated rate in order to prepare them for high school course selection with guidance from our College Counseling Director. Additionally, students learn accountability by managing daily assignments, tests, and projects, while also having the freedom to choose electives with the support of faculty and parents.
Stella Taylor | Class of 2026
“I like Wesleyan because my friends are here, and we have a lot of fun together. Even though I don’t always love school, my teachers make it interesting and help me understand what’s most important. Plus, we have awesome field trips that make learning fun.”

Wesleyan offers an academically challenging environment while providing instructional support for those who need it through our Resource classes and Enrichment Center.

Campus Safety
A Safe Place to Learn and Grow
You can take comfort in knowing that safety is a top priority on our K-12 campus, located in the heart of North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad area.
Although all of our students are located on the same campus and under one roof, each school program has a dedicated area on our campus for its students. Safety measures include two full-time police officers, indoor/outdoor camera surveillance, secure entry points, and a parent/visitor check-in and screening process. We also participate in critical incident drills, weather emergency drills, and we are proud of our dedicated and trained, first responder team.
