AUGUST 1, 6-8 PM: NEW FAMILY NIGHT | AUDITORIUM
All new parents and students are invited to attend our New Family Night. Parents will hear from our Head of School and Divisional Principals, while students will participate in fun fellowship activities with returning students. A School Information Fair will also be held.

AUGUST 8, Times TBD: TK-12 OPEN HOUSE | CLASSROOMS
New and returning parents and students are welcomed on campus to find their homerooms, drop off school supplies, meet their teachers, and walk an abbreviated schedule.

FLIK HOSPITALITY GROUP
Wesleyan is pleased to partner with Flik Hospitality Group for our students’ breakfast and lunch needs. Our food service program is an optional service for parents, and the cost is not included in the annual tuition and fees.

Monthly menus can be found on our Dining Services page.

To add money to your family’s FLIK lunch account, please login to your Wesleyan Family Portal (the district code is wca-nc), then click on Financial. In the Prepay Accounts section, click on the ADD FUNDS button. Here you will be able to connect your debit/credit card or your checking account to add money to your family’s lunch account.

Food Service

The Early Education Center at Wesleyan Christian Academy has partnered with Flik Hospitality Group to provide nutritious and child-friendly meals to your children. Each day, Flik provides a morning and afternoon snack, along with a well-balanced lunch to our Early Education Students. Each month, we will post the menu on our Food Service and Menu tab, as well as our Calendars page.

THE WEE TROJAN
This is an Early Education Center e-newsletter that is emailed to EEC families at the beginning of each month.

CLASS DOJO
Class Dojo is a safe and effective app that helps teachers and families. It fosters communication and involvement through messages, weekly photos and/or videos. Parents will receive instructions on how to get connected to the app the first week of school.

The first day of school at Wesleyan is always an exciting time for all! The start of a new school year brings new classrooms, new teachers, and new friends. We know that sometimes the new transition can bring nervous feelings, but rest assured that our teachers are prepared to welcome your little one with open arms, while making that transition as smooth as possible for all involved.

Drop Off/Pick Up

EEC FULL DAY
You can walk your child in and drop off beginning at 7:00 AM. We do recommend having your child at school by 8:30 AM to take full advantage of our program. You may drop off and pick up at the Early Ed entrance (Canopy B), or in the back parking lot connector entrance (located between the auditorium and Farlow Kennedy Center). Elementary students begin school at 8:00 AM, and they drop off in the same parking lot EEC uses. Please be mindful that our parking lot will be more congested at this time.

3:30 PM PICK UP – Pick up anytime before 3:30 PM. A late fee of $1.00/minute will be charged after 3:35 PM. Elementary school dismisses at 2:30 PM, so please note that our parking lot will be more congested at this time.

5:30 PM PICK UP – Pick up anytime before 5:30 PM. A late fee of $1.00/minute will be charged after 5:35 PM.

EEC HALF DAY
You can walk your child in and drop off beginning at 8:00 AM. We do recommend having your child at school by 8:30 AM to take full advantage of our program. You may drop off at the Half Day Program entrance (located directly in the back of Conrad Memorial Baptist Church).

12:00 PICK UP Form a car rider line at the entrance, and a teacher will bring your child outside to you. It is your responsibility to then put your child safely in the car. To keep the line moving, please do not get out of your car until you have pulled up to the entrance.

2:00 LUNCH BUDDY PICK UP – Form a car rider line at the playground (weather permitting), and a teacher will bring your child to you. Otherwise, you will pick up at the entrance. It is your responsibility to then put your child safely in the car.

After School and Extended Care is for families needing care after school hours and/or during some teacher workdays and school holidays. This program is an optional service for students in TK-5th grade for an additional fee.

Elementary Curriculum Specials include Art, Chapel, Media Center/Library, Music, Physical Education, STEM, and Technology. The schedule for these specials rotates weekly and is posted outside the Elementary Principal’s Office. Parents are welcome to attend our Chapels.

ENRICHMENT SUMMER READING LIST
If your student is enrolled in any of our Enrichment Center classes, please download this list for summer reading.

Enrichment Schedule

Enrichment students will follow the correlating division’s daily schedule (elementary, middle, or high school). Each day, Enrichment students will meet in their Academy homerooms and then attend the Enrichment classes assigned to them. All electives, curricular specials, lunch, and weekly chapels will be held with the larger Academy.
